LA BRAIDA (english)

BRAIDA is a guitar born for the great Andrea BRAIDO, a famous guitarist for his style and virtuosity, but also for his many collaborations with Italian and international artists such as Zucchero, Vasco and many others. So building this instrument for a demanding performer was a great challenge. First of all, because Braido uses mainly electrical instruments, so with different trim and dimensions than a classic instrument. Secondly, its style requires a keyboard ergonomics that can be used on any part without any hindrance.
The solution was to make a handle with the hang on the 17th button. Therefore, giving a contour with a missing double shoulder giving the feeling of having an electric hand in his hands.

The guitar has a cedar top while on the bottom and the bands I used a fantastic rosewood india. For the rosette I wanted to do something special for the tool to be totally original. I have practically inlaid with threaded contour roots.

Neck is a laminate coupling mahogany with a maple and ebony soul. The result can be seen in the photos. But you can not taste the taste of playing it. This solution guarantees stability and rebound. Making the keyboard rigid and manageable at best.

I preferred using a maple binding to enhance its unusual contours. In the end one can say that this tool likes or dislikes ... There are no ways in the middle. The palette is also simple but captivating and I do not hide that I have been constrained by the fact that I often see Braids playing the PRS. The peculiarity of these guitars is to have a double horn blade, I wanted to bring it back to classical style. Even the logo positioning does not meet the standard fees.

With a tool with these features, you can allow extreme settings, allowing you to perform fast and perform well. Although the handle has a width of 51 mm, its low D curvature and its 1-button thickness of just under 20 mm, the feeling of having a very versatile hand in hand.

Another characteristic of the wax is lightness. The instrument weighs only 1460 g, practically a feather. And you know that a tool is lighter and more playful.

The deck has its thin wings so as to prevent reverse traction in case of thermal or moisture escaping, leaving the table its original tension.

The hole on the band allows immediate ejection of vibration-induced sounds by accentuating the attack.
